It is possible to organize a year down to seasons. Each season has a starting date and ending date and seasons are not allowed to overlap.
Usually this is used for one time items or items that are bought for one season only.
An item belongs to a season, for example Fall 2006, and is purchased for the start of that season and usually the objective is to sell all the items before
the end of that season.
There is a facility to populate Promotion and Discount Offers lines according to a Season Code.
There is a sales and stock on hand report according to a Season Code.
