Mark Transaction, Store Queue Counter

This field indicates whether and when the transaction is marked with the queue counter.

The options are

  • At Start of Transaction. All transactions are marked with the queue counter on creation. The customer receipt is marked also and the queue counter is increased with every transaction.
  • When First Item Routed to Kitchen. When the first item with kitchen routing is added to a transaction, the transaction is marked with the queue counter. If there are no lines routed, the queue counter is not increased and does not appear on the customer receipt.
  • On Posting. All transactions are marked with the queue counter on posting and before items are sent to the kitchen. The customer receipt is marked also and the queue counter is increased with every transaction.
  • On Posting if Items Routed to Kitchen.Only those transactions including lines that are routed to kitchen in the restaurant are marked with the queue counter on posting and before items are sent to the kitchen. If there are no lines routed, the queue counter is not increased and does not appear on the customer receipt.

Note: If items are sent to the kitchen on posting (when the transaction is paid for), select On Posting or On Posting if Item Routed to Kitchen. If items are sent on POS Exit or after each item is added to the transaction, select At Start of Transaction or When First Item Routed to Kitchen.
