The purpose of Attributes is to offer the chance to enter new item information, without actually creating new field in the database.
If you need to enter specific information about an item, in a more structured way than just text comments,
you can use the attribute to create a 'field' which can be linked to any item.
The attribute can be numeric, text, amount or date entry, and one or more instances of the attribute can be added to each item.
Using the item search, you can search for items which have a specific attribute or attribute
value entered.
