The Division table is the top-level item in the LS Retail item hierarchy, set on top of the Item Category. With the Division on top the LS Retail item hierarchy is now Division, Item Category, Product Group, Item, Item Variant. A common use for the Division is to divide two categories - Food and Non-food.
