This field indicates of which type the attributes values are. The options are:
- Text
- Numeric
- Amount
- Date
- File
- Option Value - predefined option values such as colors or fabrics.
- Table Link - values from a database table such as Language and Post Code
- Weighted Option - predefined option values such as Yes, No, Maybe where each value is assigned a weight. A calculated weighted option for a recipe is the option with the highest weight.
If the attribute has been linked to records you cannot change the value type of the attribute unless the change is from an Option Value to a Weighted Option and vice versa.
