The system offers the chance to register a customers 'wish list' for items to buy,
for example for weddings, birthdays and such events. The purpose is to keep track of which items have been bought related to this registration,
thus assisting customers going to the event to purchase the appropriate items. At the POS you must have access to buttons to lookup gift registration and link the active sale to
a gift registration. This will then assign any pre-registered discounts to the sale and keep track
of purchased items.
The user can create a gift registration in order to:
Register items that the client is interested in to assist in sales according to the gift list.
Register sales against gift registration. This will keep track of items already bought.
Issue a final discount (based on sales) as a gift card to the client.
Register preset line discount to be issued during a sale.
Items can be pre-registered at the registration form, or can be added to the registration when the sale is entered at POS and linked to the registration.
